April 28th - I was down in Waverly this
week and spotted a '66 Coronet police car on the side of the road at a
mechanics shop. It was all painted up as a D.A.R.E. car. It
reminded me that the only Chevelle police car I've ever seen was a die cast
model of a '66. How cool would it be to have a real one; if it ever
existed.... -Martin |

April 24th - I've had several people ask
me about registration for Chevell~abration 2006. So I did some
searching and found a copy of the
registration form here.

April 19th -
Last month I mentioned all the new car shows that are on television.
Well I came across another one. It's called
Wrecks to Riches on TLC and follows car builder
Barry White as he takes a car
from the scrap heap to the auction block in 30 days. One of the first
shows had him build a '69 Chevelle "Super Muscle Car." -Martin |

April 15th - A few days ago I saw another
Chevelle used in advertising. It's a convertible '71 Malibu used in a
Cialis commercial. It shows a couple driving up the coast of Maine and
stopping by a hot dog stand next to a lighthouse. The idea presumably
is that if you go for a get away picnic make sure "junior johnson" is ready
to perform. -Martin |

| April 1st - Ok, today is April Fools Day, but unfortunately there's nothing funny about classic cars that will never see another cruise night, grudge race, or smokey burnout. See what I mean at classiccarsrotting.com | |
