COCO Secretary
| Welcome to the home of the Central Ohio Chevelle
Owners. Established in the fall of 1985, COCO hosts car shows and cruise-ins, and
its purpose is to "promote fellowship through the restoration and enjoyment of the

June 27th
- I attended
Chevelleabration
earlier this month. We didn't get to see
too many cars on that first day since we were just pulling it, but we did
make it to the the 1/8th mile
Music City Raceway on
Thursday night. Here's a picture of my friend making a 10.15 second
run against a wicked fast 1965. Much of
the show and shine was rained out on Friday, but it cleared up enough that
we were able to make it to
Nashville Superspeedway on Friday night for a couple of "parade" laps
around the speedway. |

June 22nd
- Our once a year car show is tomorrow (Saturday). Don't miss
out. Come see us in Johnstown, 11am-1pm registration, awards at

June 20th
- A friend and I drove the first five cities of the seven cities in
the The Hot Rod Magazine
Power Tour. We broke off the last two cities to attend
Chevelleabration
in Nashville. Rather impressively
Chevelles were very well represented of the 2,500 or so on the tour.
In fact I saw more Chevelles than Mustangs, Cudas, and any other make.
It's good to know that Chevelles make the mid-west their home. Here
are just a few pictures I took on this 2,000 mile journey. |

June 15th
- Last month I attended the
Year One
Experience. Awesome weather and lots of cool things to do if
you've got a muscle car with cahones. Drag strip, wet autocross, dry
autocross, Road Atlanta road course, etc. I didn't have the Chevelle
down there so I had to enjoy the
Panoz Racing School Hot Lap as a passenger (movie
link). Also got to meet Chip
Foose of Overhaulin'. I'm
definitely making plans on attending next year. -Martin |

June 1st
- The Hot Rod Magazine
Power Tour starts this weekend. If you live in Cleveland,
Kalamazoo, Racine, Springfield, Evansville, Memphis, or Little Rock make
sure you check out the hundreds of muscle and classic cars that will be
making their way through your town. Also,
Chevelleabration is next
weekend in Nashville so make sure you check that
out too. |

Chevellabration 2007 will be held June 7, 8, and 9, in Goodlettsville, TN
(near Nashville). If you’ve not been to this ACES event it’s a huge
Chevelle only car show with 400+ of the nicest A-bodys GM ever produced. If
you're into Chevelles, then this once a year event is a must attend.

If you can't make Chevellabration 2007 then plan on attending one of the
many ACES Regional Events. For those of you in Ohio, plan on spending
July 20, 21, and 22 in Hudson, Ohio for the
ACES Northern Regional
Event hosted by the Northern
